Outfit Post//Travel: Palm Springs

Hi loves! How has everyone's week been? Jeff and I had the honor of going to Palm Springs last weekend to host my braid bar at the Bloguettes Instagram Camp. It was SO much fun. We left AZ Friday and right when I got there we were greeted by the cutest girls with the Bloguettes. I braided some one of their hair to get some promo photos and we went up to our room. The camp was hosted at The Saguaro which is where we stayed as well. Let me tell you...everywhere at that hotel is a "perfect" IG photo. Bright colorful backgrounds, palm trees and a retro feel. It was magical and had a old hollywood feel to it. On Friday night we went to a Happy Hour with all of the Sponsors, VIPs and Bloguettes that was hosted at Mr. Lyons. The food was amazing and so was the drinks. We got to meet so many inspirational entrepreneurs and creatives. It made me so honored that I was apart of it. After happy hour, Jeff and I went to dinner. We both had never been to Palm Springs so we wanted to explore downtown a little and find a fun place to eat down there. We ended up going to Matchbox. The pizza and sangria were to die for. YUM!

Saturday was the big day for the Instagram Camp. There was a amazing turn out and the Bloguettes seriously thought of everything imaginable. For lunch a few of the other sponsors and I went and got tacos at the hotel restaurant/bar El Hefe. They were delicious. After connecting {and braiding SO many gorgeous girls} Jeff graciously helped me carry all my stuff back to the car. I changed into something a little more comfortable and we headed down to the pool bar for drinks. While I was braiding all day, Jeff went and played a round of golf. He had always wanted to play in Palm Springs so I was super excited that we both got to have a very productive trip :) For dinner Saturday night we went back downtown but this time we went to a popular mexican restaurant in the area Las Casuelas. The food was delicious and the Margaritas were probably some of the best I have ever had {and I have tried many :) }

Overall we had such an amazing time. I'm so lucky that Magnolia Styling is doing to well and I cannot tell you how many awesome people and opportunities have come from it. Here are some photos from the weekend! Jeff and I are going to be traveling some more in the next month so make sure to follow me on IG if you don't already: @alyssamaywilson @magnoliastyling
