BEAUTY// Peppermint + Wild Orange Sugar Scrub

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I can't wait to share this amazing sugar scrub with you! Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best. Coffee brought to you in bed in the morning, lavender diffusing before you go to sleep, puppy kisses, cuddling {I could go on...}. Using fun products like this sugar scrub definitely fall into this category. Not only does sugar scrub aid in soft skin, it tastes pretty good too :) Here is how to make it:

Fractionated Coconut Oil
Wild Orange doTERRA oil
Peppermint doTERRA oil
{you can use any oil combinations you like//lavender is also one of my favs}

Depending on how much you want to make, scoop out about a cup of sugar into a bowl. I am all about eye balling measurements so excuse the lack of accuracy. :) Add about 1/4 cups coconut oil. Next add your oils. Use around 15-20 drops so split that between both oils as desired. Some oils are more fragrant than others {like lavender} so use those sparingly. Mix together, pour into a mason jar, and you are done!

For any of you interested in doTERRA oils contact the @essentialoilsisters on IG and follow them as well. They are the best!! I will link some of my favorite oils below :)

Summer Refresher//

I am so excited to do another post with the Essential Oil Sisters. This is going to be all about using essential oils in water. This is one of my favorite things to do in order to drink a ton of water throughout the day. This is literally the simplest thing. Just put one or two drops of essential oil into a glass water bottle and you are good to go. Sometimes I also like to add a sprig of mint in if I'm feeling fancy :) A lot of oils can be digested just make sure to read the label before using. Some of my favorites include: lemon, wild orange, peppermint and grapefruit.

Make sure that you use a glass water bottle compared to plastic when using essential oils so that the compounds in our oils aren't dissolving the plastic water bottle. I got this one from my work {lululemon}. You can purchase them here or at your local lulu.

For more info on all these essential oils or if you would like to purchase follow @essentialoilsisters on Instagram. Stay tuned for another essential oils post next week :) I hope you guys are having the best week! #cheers

Outfit Post: Denim

When I saw this denim dress at Calypso I immediately fell in love. Everything from the weight of the material to the cut. Plus how often do you see people wearing denim maxi dresses?! This is one of those times where I am grateful for my small chest {haha} considering this is a pretty open neck dress.

I hope all of you had an awesome weekend. Time for another great week!
