Outfit Post: Whistle

How is everyone's Saturday going?! A little hair change has been going on this week and I am loving it! These outfit photos below were taken after I had my tape in extensions removed and cut about two inches off my hair. Then I went in yesterday and had a little more cut off :) Feeling fresh for the new year!

On Thursday I met up with my blogger friend and web designer extraordinaire Aubrey {her blog here} and had a blast catching up and adoring her new little. Here is what I wore.

pants Lululemon, shirt {old}, sweater Lolobelle Boutique, bag Nobella Grace Boutique, whistle necklace Falling Whistle, shoes Nordstrom Rack
If you have not heard of Falling Whistles I urge you to check out their website {here}. Whistles are a symbol of peace in Congo by signifying the child soldiers who were forced to sacrifice their lives during the war. Falling Whistles has already reached over 100,000 people who are wearing their whistles in support for peace in Congo. Spread the word and let’s make it 200,000 or more!

Outfit Post: Boho Vibe

A couple weeks ago a super cute lady walked into my work wearing some patterned bells, a tee and a jean jacket. I complimented her on her outfit and she said that this was her running errands, "mom outfit". I giggled a little inside knowing that I wear the same exact thing {although I am not a mom}. However it got me thinking. Bells sometimes get a bad wrap, because they look intimidating but treating them like you are wearing normal leggings or jeans when styling them makes them way less scary. Even moms are doing it! :)

Outfit Post: Daily

When I am not wearing my go-to assortment of black skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans you will find me wearing my Lululemon leggings or comfy joggers. My absolute favorite outfit lately is leggings, a tee, a flannel or chambray top {either worn or tied around my waist} and a pair of slide on sneakers or converse. Guys...it's amazing. Not only does it look "sporty chic" it is the most comfortable thing on the planet and lets be honest, who wants to wear pants. :) Not only do I wear this to work, {I work at Lululemon for anyone that doesn't know} this is also my "off duty" look as well. You can mix it up with your accessories and hair to make the look fresh.

For todays post I am featuring the comfiest top from Cross Training Couture. For any of you that have been following me for a while, you know that I try to live a healthy life inside and out. That is exactly what they are all about and I couldn't wait to show you guys. It doesn't stop at their inspirational clothing either so for more information check out their site {here} and follow them on Instagram: @crosstrainingcouture @michellelmyers @sheworkshisway

I Run This// Part II

Finally I am posting part two and look #2 with this I Run This tank! There is seriously infinite ways to style this tank from Nayeli Clothing Company. A tip that I think about whenever I am styling graphic tees is to take the actual shirt color and treat it like a solid shirt. If that makes any sense. For example you can basically pair a white tank with anything therefore I could pair this tank with anything. If I was wearing a black band tank {no matter what color the graphics are on it} I would treat it like a plain black tank. If you think that way when you are styling, #1 you can wear the piece a ton of different ways and it always creates an eclectic yet chic, disheveled look {that I love so much}.

It has officially been a year anniversary of my training at Mint Body AZ. Being consistent with exercise and eating heathly is key and my amazing trainer Angela {who has become such an awesome friend} holds me accountable :) I am going to share some more workout looks soon with you guys on the blog but until then here is today's look.
