The Face Series// Everyday Make-Up Routine

Hi guys! I am back with another installment of The Face Series// This week is my everyday make-up routine. I have been using most of these products for a while now and I will tell you my opinions on these and all my tips and tricks. Here we go :)

1. Garnier BB Cream - Honestly one of my favorite products ever. It is so light on my skin and feels like I have nothing on my face. If only my Jr. High self knew about this...
2. Bare Minerals - I have been using Bare Minerals for almost 9 years and literally love this product. I would recommend it to anyone. *For reference, I use Fairly Light Matte
3. Lumin Minerals Bronzer - I started using this product around the end of December and haven't stopped since. It is super pigmented so I don't have to use much, which I love.
4. Revlon Concealer - This product is great for highlighting. I'm sure there are a thousand other awesome concealers out there and I am not opposed to trying some others out.
5. E.L.F. Eyelash Curler - All time fav eyelash curler
6. M.A.C. Blush in Pink Swoon - I love this shade of pink
7. E.L.F. Eyebrow Kit - I have always had dark thick eyebrows. Recently, they have become a little sparse so I use this guy to bring them back to life.
8. Maybelline Rocket Volume - Like the concealer I am totally willing to try other mascaras out there. This one is good, but it didn't blow me away like I thought it would.
9. Lumin Minerals Eyeshadows - Again, I love Lumin Minerals. The pigment is amazing and I love mixing these with #11.
10. Eyeliner - I honestly don't know who makes this...I think I got it at Ulta and I think it is the Ulta brand. I wouldn't get it again. There is a slight sparkle in the eyeliner that I am not loving.
11. Bare Minerals Eyeshadows - Queen Tiffany + Sex Kitten have been long time favorites for me. Perfect smokey browns.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. Stay tuned next week for some of my lip favs :) Happy Monday!

xoxo,
Alyssa

{My Style Collab}: Danielle Luecht + Pop Of Neon

Hey there, it's Dani from See Dani Style! I'm excited to be sharing with you all a fun spring look featuring a pop of neon!

I just love spring + summer and the fresh, bright colors that come with it when it comes to clothes. Neon colors, in particular, are something that I normally won't wear any other time of the year (there have been exceptions if I really love the piece!) but I usually save them just for now. When it comes to wearing neons, I usually tend to keep it to my accessories like this rad neon pink clutch I styled in this outfit. I saw this dress at Forever 21 and fell in love. I mean the print, the pom poms, the unique top/bottom portion...swoon! I decided to keep the rest of my outfit with basic black and add in some fun pops of neon pink, enter clutch + pink lips + peek-a-boo bra.

Neons can totally change the look of an outfit am I right? Don't be afraid to get creative and have fun with your wardrobe! Happy Spring :)

Headband How-To

If you have been following my blog for a while you know my love for headbands. Any shape, size and color I am down for an adorable headband. Some of you may have never worn one or maybe are a little nervous to try them out. Don't be scared because I have six of my go-to headband hairstyles for you below.
***Headband Charming Damsel, necklace Raptor Jewelry, dress Junky Trunk

1. Classic - This is the classic down hair style that you see me rocking all the time. I like to make sure the middle of the headband is right where my hairline is and the back is pushed down toward the nape of my neck.

2. The Tuck - Now this style may be the easiest up-do in the books. Simply twist and tuck hair under the headband and you are good to go.

3. Pony - For the style I like to do a low pony so it doesn't look like I stepped out of a 80's workout video. You really don't want that! Unless of course you are working out...I may be guilty of this :)

4. Braid - You can't go wrong with the classic braid. Fishtail, french or maybe a bohemian braid? All of those look great!

5. One Side - I tend to do this one a lot when I don't have time to curl my hair. It totally works with the beachy waves that I gravitate to on the regular.

6. Messy Bun - There is nothing more simple then a messy bun. Twist the hair around and secure it with a hair tie. Make sure to pull some pieces out in the front to frame your face.

I hope this little tutorial helped all of you that are about to take the headband plunge! They are the perfect hair accessory :)

The Face Series// Skin Routine

I am so excited to bring you guys a new series on the blog entitled The Face Series. You guessed it. This series is going to be all about the face. Whether it is make-up or blemish tips I will cover it :) The kick off of this series is probably the most important one of all... my skin routine.

I have been using Enza Essentials for over a month now and I'm in love. I had been searching for a good skin routine to target all the areas my skin needed when Enza approached me. Not only is everyone extremely nice and helpful at Enza, their products are amazing. I really wanted something that would thoroughly clean my skin, keep it bright and help out on my occasional breakouts during "the time of the month". My fair, freckled face has never been more smooth, clean and bright! Here is what I use.

Every skin care regimen is customized to your unique skin. I love how organized my folder was! I easily saw the products I needed to use and when I needed to use them. So easy!

My day time products make my skin feel refreshed and ready for the day. They also brighten my skin and help me look more awake {who doesn't need that right?!}. Also for reference I only use the SPF on days when I don't put my make-up on right away. My BB Cream has SPF in it and I don't want to make my skin too oily.

My two favorite night time products are the sustaining glow cream and the fine facial polish. I love the texture of the sustaining glow cream. It is thick but not too oily. Perfect for my skin. Also the fine facial polish is a life saver during my "time of the month". It kicks all my blemishes booty's. My FAV!

For more information about Enza Essentials check out their website {here}. Also follow them on Instagram @EnzaPRGirl It's never too early or too late to start caring for your skin. :) I hope you guys enjoyed the first post in my Face Series. Look out for my Make-Up Routine next Monday :)

Outfit Post: You and Tequila Makes Me Crazy

As Kenny Chesney would say... "You and Tequila makes me crazy..." I have been wanting to wear this top non stop since I got it two weeks ago. I wore it last Friday when Jeff and I drove to meet my family in California. It is such a comfy top with the softest fabric. Plus you can never have enough graphic tees. This is definitely my go-to right now. Here is how I styled it today.

shorts Closet, top Gypsy Soul Collective, headband Charming Damsel, necklace Raptor Jewelry, shoes Vans, sunnies Ray Bans, bag + wallet Kate Spade

Speaking of soft fabric, this headband from Charming Damsel is seriously the softest thing on earth! I love the pattern and you can't go wrong with a classic turban style headband. I hope everyone had a great weekend! See you tomorrow with my skin care regimen. :)
