Outfit Post: Sweet Skulls

I have been wanting to pair my white {summer-y} strapless dress in other ways like I did in {this} post a couple weeks ago. Since the top is stretchy, you can pretty much wear it however you want. Love that. Today I am wearing it the right way {like I would if it was by its self} but threw on my Brandy Melville skull sweater over to make it more suitable for this time of year. I love how this sweater is such a girly color but the pop of skulls make it more rough.

 dress {old}, Brandy Melville sweater, boots & belt Target, vintage Dooney & Bourke, assorted jewelry: ILY Couture bracelet, Windsor bracelet, Charming Charlie bracelet, Nordstrom bracelet, Michael Kors watch, glasses Coastal

Outfit Post: Rainy Day

This whole weekend has been super rainy and unlike a lot of people, I fully enjoy the rain in AZ. It is a nice change of weather. I decided to snap a few pictures of my outfit yesterday because I was wearing another one of my grandma's sweaters.

Outfit Post: Black Ensemble

Tonight we are having a farewell dinner for Rea because she will be spending the next semester in Ireland! I am so sad to see her leave but I know when she comes back it will be like she wasn't even gone! I decided to throw on a faux black suite {black bow shorts + thrifted Talbot's blazer} and a grey t-shirt.

shorts Buffalo Exchange, t-shirt {random store in Vegas}, blazer thrifted, boots F21, bag F21, Michael Kors watch, ILY Couture bracelet, Windsor bracelet, Charming Charlie bracelet, necklace F21, Ray Ban sunnies

Considering I don't go out to clubs too often I have absolutely no "going out" type dresses. So whenever we do fun things like go to Mill, Scottsdale, dinner, out for a drink etc., I gravitate towards other pieces in my closet like printed blouses, skirts, skinny jeans, sequins or all black. All these can be dressed up for a perfect going out look. I hope you all have a fun and safe Friday night:)

Outfit Post: Graffiti Girl

The other day when Jeff and I were driving, we passed right by this awesome apartment complex in Tempe. The walls all have unique murals with super bright colors. So I figured it was the perfect backdrop for a rainy day post. Here is what I am wearing.

dress TJ-Maxx, boots Windsor, jacket H&M, vintage silver cuffs & rings, bag F21, MadeWithLoveByAlyssa necklace

Over-all this outfit was pretty simple today. I really wanted to showcase the high-low cross maxi that Jeff spoiled me with, isn't it cute?! I love how the cross trend is "in". However, I always have to watch out when I'm buying cross printed items to make sure that the crosses aren't upside down...I don't want to look satanic! Eeeek! Well I hope everyone is having a fab Thursday! See you next time:)

Outfit Post: Printed Pants

Today Rea and I met for lunch at D'lish. It was...delish {see what I did there..he he} But seriously, it was so yummy! They have a ton of vegan options and serve breakfast all day! After that, we went to Nordstrom rack and Rea scored some super cute converse. Now I am sitting in my night class...fun stuff...so here is what I wore today.

pants & button up Old Navy, bag Brandy Melville, necklace F21, Michael Kors watch, Charming Charlie bracelets, shoes Target, Warby Parker glasses

I bought these pants a couple days ago with an Old Navy gift card I had {along with another pair in a different print}. I have received so many compliments on them today! These are going to be perfect for spring and summer. You guys should definitely check Old Navy for them because they were only $12.99. SCORE! See you guys tomorrow!

Outfit Post: Casual Camo

Lately I have been loving the bohemian, flowy look. You can make this style feminine, rocker or both which pretty much sums up my style. Today for the Coast to Coast Challenge I ended up pairing my camo jacket with a comfy 3/4 length grey top from Target {old} and some cut offs. A funny story about these shorts: I did a DIY over the summer with these and ended up cuffing the bottom of the shorts. I went to try them on yesterday and they were huge! I snipped the threads, un-cuffed the bottom and ironed them out. Now instead of wearing them on my waist they slide down around my hips for a casual look. These shorts always were one of my favorites because the distressing is perfect.

shorts vintage DIY, shirt Target, camo jacket vintage, boots & bag F21, sunnies Ray Ban, Michael Kors watch, assorted bracelets: Charming Charlie, ILY Couture, Nordstrom, Windsor, vintage rings, necklace F21

{on Jeff: shorts Nordstrom, shirt RVCA, sunnies Von Zipper, shoes {not shown} Creative Recreations}

When I showed up to meet Jeff for lunch today we both had on camo, so of course a photo opp was necessary. I'm happy I have a stylish man on my hands that loves to shop...maybe as much as me. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

At Home Chipotle Veggie Salad

You could say Jeff and I are slightly obsessed with Chipotle. It is definitely one of our favorite places to go for lunch. My favorite thing there is their veggie salad. They probably hate me because I am always telling them "just a little of this" "just a little of that" because if you don't say that you get a TON of food. {which isn't always a bag thing...haha} However, going out to lunch can get pretty expensive so today after my run I decided to try and recreate Chipotle's salad at home. Here is my version.
{cut and grill 1 red onion + 1 green bell pepper}
 {add any lettuce of your choice: I used arugula}
 {add grilled veggies: I sliced mine after they were grilled}
 {add a little pinto beans}
 {add a little corn}
 {add cherry tomatoes + a dollop of low fat sour cream}
 {drizzle a little Chipotle Vinaigrette dressing: I used this recipe + salt and pepper}

One of my favorite things about Chipotle's salad is the yummy vinaigrette dressing. You don't have to use this, but it does add a little flavor and tangy-ness to the salad. Also if you want you can substitute the low fat sour cream for greek yogurt or add any type of meat if you would like a heartier dish. After you prep all the ingredients, keep them handy in the refrigerator for next time. I hope you guys enjoy this salad as much as I did today! If you have any questions don't hesitate to email me: sincerelytrulyscrumptious@gmail.com

Outfit Post: Lady Like

I don't know if you have noticed but lately I have been obsessed with wearing skirts. Whether it's maxi, mini or tea length I love 'em all! Today I took my plain black maxi, rolled it a couple times, belted it and threw a crop long sleeve top on with it. It was the perfect outfit to meet my sweet friend Heather for lunch.

 skirt Closet, top {random store in vegas}, booties Target, bag Brandy Melville, Coastal glasses, vintage cuff, wrap bracelet F21, handmade silver bracelet, spiked bracelet Windsor, handmade druzzy necklace, turquoise necklace Francesca's, dad's belt

If you have been a follower of my blog for the past 4 months, you know how obsessed I am with my Warby Parker glasses. I pretty much wear them 24/7 which is great for me because my headaches have disappeared and I can actually see the board in school...who knew?! Last week I decided to check out another glasses website Coastal. Your first pair of glasses from this site is FREE! I just had to pay for shipping and BAM. Brand new, adorable pair of peepers. If you need a new pair of glasses and don't have a lot of cash...I'd highly recommend checking them out:)

Outfit Post: Romantic Shades

I decided to pair two of my favorite colored pieces together in one outfit today. I love the romantic look of the peach/blush with the turquoise numbered sweater. I threw my vintage cowboy boots on {which I totally forgot I had}, my vintage Dooney and my dad's belt to pull the look together.

 skirt & sweater F21, vintage boots, vintage Dooney & Bourke, dad's belt, Michael Kors watch, ILY Couture bracelet, Windsor bracelet, vintage turquoise cuff, Nordstrom bracelet, vintage rings, Warby Parker glasses

Tonight after my class Jeff and I are meeting one of my besties and her bf for some Mexican food. She is about to leave to study abroad for the semester in Ireland! How awesome is that?! Well I better start paying attention...since I am sitting in class:) Bye!
