MacBook Pro Mania

Yay! I finally purchased one of these beauties! And boy is it worth it. It will take some getting used to but I can't wait to start school so I can show it off:) But of course (with my experience) I definitely need to go buy a case and bag for it. I am going to try my hardest to take care of this lap top better then my last one(RIP Dell). And best of all I got 100 dollars off by showing my school registration(only for Macbook Pro; 50 dollars for Macbook) a printer, and a 32g itouch! Looks like I'm all set!

Today was exciting as always! Woke up to go to the gym then went to Scottsdale Fashion Square with Kylie and Jeff to go to H&M. So much cute stuff! Then while Jeff was helping Jake(Kylie's boyfriend move) we went to Anthropology (to waste time of course) then went to dinner at Costa! Everything is better when you are with your best friends:) Well I'm off to bed I have ballet in the morning!

Flippin' Pages

Ever since I was little grabbing a book off the shelf and reading was one of my favorite things to do. Sadly, as I've gotten older, I have become more and more busy. Leaving me less and less time to read! But although summer is almost over, this is the time where I actually can read. I have finished two books so far with many more on my reading list! Here are a few that I recommend to anyone! You may or may not be a avid reader, but once you get into any of these books you will be addicted!:

1. A Caribbean Mystery- Agatha Christie
2. A Sleeping Murder- Agatha Christie
3. A Bend In The Road- Nicholas Sparks
4. The Rescue- Nicholas Sparks
5. Rebecca- Daphne du Maurier

Five of my all time favorites!
You will be sure to love them!

A Day In The Life

Sadly, this summer has fallen into a predicable routine and it feels as if there is becoming less and less hours in a day!
1. Wake up (normally by a phone; call or txt)
2. Go to the gym (my day isn't complete without it)
3. Eat a bowl of cereal (muligrain cheerios)
4. Go home and get ready for the day
5. Jeff comes to pick me up (usually already sitting on the couch for 30 minutes waiting for me)
6. Grab lunch! - I've been super into grilled chicken breast sandwiches on whole grain/ Ezekiel lately! mmm delish!
7. Depending on the day, either get ready to go to work or get ready for Jeff's baseball games.
8. Get done with work around 11 and come home for a lateee dinner or finish Jeff's game and find something to eat with him.
9. Meet up with one of my favorite couples and two best friends Jake and Kylie.
10. Finally go home, get in bed, and sit on the computer for hours.

Yes, this is the overall routine of my days! However, shopping trips, ballet class, and other activities are thrown in at random!

Well tomorrow is my last day at Forever21! Its bittersweet, but mostly sweet. I am looking forward to this year and what it brings along with it! Hopefully a promising job. My goal this year is to start teaching pre-ballet at the studio where I take, and where my mom takes and teaches. Yes my mom does ballet. Yes she is amazing. It would be so awesome if i got that opportunity! Anyways off to bed for me, another late night at work!

The Start of Something Good

Although the summer is coming to an end (with only a month left until my first semester in college) it is also the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I'm not going to lie stepping off the Mountain View High School field holding my diploma (dressed looking like a smurf) might be added to my list as one of the best days ever. However, sometimes I wish I could go back to high school again just so I can be in my comfort zone. Now, stepping out, and attending SCC is not exactly what I call comforting. Thankfully my amazing boyfriend, of a little over a year, will be helping me through it:) Having already gone to SCC for a year on a baseball scholarship, he knows a thing or two to help me out! I recently put my two weeks in at my job at Forever21 Scottsdale. Having it been my first official job i can now say I'm ready to explore what else is out there. Focusing on school and family will always be my main priority, however, I am going to try to make time for some $$$ too:) I have definitely learned recently that money isn't the only way to go about picking a job. You must enjoy it and also enjoy your managers and fellow employees.I have always remembered this quote and hope to one day live by it: "If you enjoy what you do, you will never work another day in your life" - Confucius. After all, you will be spending a good majority of your time with them(noting: if you work many hours). Anyways, this summer has been filled with many memories to remember for a lifetime. So hopefully this blog will keep me busy and occupied this upcoming year!
