I recently was introduced to microblading a few years ago when a few of my work friends came in talking about it. I have always had dark thicker brows so I never really thought I would benefit from getting them done. A few months ago I was contacted by Amanda from Highbrow Amanda and she totally hooked me. Not only could she fill in my sparse spots - she could also make them look EXTREMELY natural. I love her technique. It doesn't look tattooed or "too perfect". You can see the individual strokes + they look exactly like hairs.
I am officially one week post appointment + I am still OBSESSED. She was so precise in measuring my arches + making my brows even. Usually they tend to look a little darker right when you get them done but I seriously loved them the second she finished. My skin usually gets pretty red after waxing so I only assumed it would with this...nope! My brows were a little tender + the skin felt tight but other then that I could even tell I had anything done to them. PS this may be a little TMI but I am giving my honest opinion {I wouldn't recommend getting microbladed while on your period}. My skin was a little more sensitive than normal.
I would by far recommend this to ANYONE + EVERYONE. Amanda is so extremely talented + professional. It also helps that she is the sweetest human ever. Go follow her on IG + contact her to book your appointment :) @highbrowamanda
