After ballet and teaching this morning, I met up with my long lost friend from high school. I had missed her so much and it was so much fun catching up over some Jamba Juice. After that I went to church and met up with my bestie for some pizza and Alvin and the Chipmonks with Roman. It was a busy fun filled day. Here is what I wore tonight.

Outfit Post: Fringe & Turquoise/Golf Adventures
Jeans from Forever21, Miley Cyrus for Walmart shirt, fringe vest from Forever21, hat, sandals & sunnies from Buffalo Exchange, handmade necklace, Michael Kors watch, assorted bracelets
Today after teaching and doing loads of homework {getting ahead} Jeff came and picked me up this afternoon and we met two of our friends for a lovely day of golf. It was so nice outside today I had to take advantage of it {even if I was just sitting in the cart}. Here are some photos from today.
There were so many bunnies I couldn't stop taking pictures. I hope all of you had a fabulous weekend! Did you do anything fun?

Outfit Post: Floral Shorts & Studded Chambray Shirt
Floral denim shorts- Forever21, chambray shirt- Forever21 {DIY studded shirt}, black lace top- Forever21, black feather belt- Buffalo Exchange, sunnies- Buffalo Exchange, shoes & bag- TJ-Maxx, necklace- Down East Basics, Michael Kors watch, assorted bracelets, diamond studs- Forever21
Today consisted of going to ballet, teaching, running by Walgreens to pick up some make-up {bronzer, concealer, mascara, brow pencil, make-up remover}, take two quizzes for my online class {100% on both yay!}, go to church, have dinner with my best friend Gillian and her handsome little boy Roman, went to K-mart {bought two adorable pairs of shoes and one pair was on sale for $7!}, Jeff got home from his baseball games in Thatcher so I saw him for a little, and now I'm finally relaxing. I have to teach tomorrow morning at 8:30 {like always} and sadly I always dread it. It's really been bothering me that I have to teach and literally start dreading it around Wednesday...this isn't normal. But I am the type of person that thinks they can handle everything, but reality check, I CAN'T! So I did myself a favor and told my boss I can't teach Sunday mornings anymore. It is such a relief knowing that I can have one day out of the whole week free. I can't wait!!! I hope you guys are having a really good weekend!

Outfit Post: Cow Boy Boots & Peter Pan Collars
Last night Jeff and I did our usual Thursday night date night at Salty's on Scottsdale Road. I decided to wear my DIY cut-offs that I made, paired with an adorable vintage-esque shirt I got a couple weeks ago at Buffalo Exchange.
DIY cut-off shorts, peter pan collar shirt from Buffalo Exchange, Juicy cow boy boots from Last Chance, Michael Kors watch, gold cuff & leather studded bracelet from Forever21, name necklace, Target messenger bag {DIY jeweled phone case}
Today my plans consist of going to teach at one of my elementary schools, come home and maybe start another DIY project, go teach Zumba, go grab something to eat for dinner with Jeffrey and thats pretty much it. My Fridays seem to fly but by I can't decide if I like it or not though. After having last weekend off from work its time to get back into the swing of things.
Happy Friday everybody!

DIY: Make Your Own Cut-off Shorts
Since Summer is around the corner, cut-off shorts are becoming more and more popular. They are super easy to do and here is a DIY to show you just that. I used some high-waisted Levi shorts that I purchased last year at Vintage Blue Jean Buyer on Scottsdale Road. I have mentioned them before, but I adore their cute little shop. There are walls just filled with Vintage Levi's. AMAZING! They are super cheap too. I have purchased 3 pairs of shorts there so far for only $20 each. The owner even custom cuts, and distresses them for you for $5 extra. Can't beat it. The shorts I'm using are a little big {I lost some weight since last summer from teaching Zumba} and decided these would look cute as rolled slouchy shorts.
1. Jeans/long shorts
2. Scissors and a needle and thread if you plan on rolling yours {fabric scissors work best}
3. Use another pair of shorts that you like the length on for a guide line
4. Cut close to the other pair of shorts as possible
5. Continue with the other leg
6. Make sure both sides are even
7. Roll and sew to tack the sides down
8./9. Finished look!
Here are some tips you should follow when getting a pair of jeans/long shorts to cut:
- Make sure that the jeans you are trying to cut are not very tight on your leg or it will feel even tighter once you cut them into shorts {not flattering}
- Cut them longer at first then trim {You don't want to ruin your shorts and not be able to wear them}
ENJOY!!!

DIY: "Treasure Chest" Jeweled Phone Case
I have been seeing this chunky phone case trend going around and decided to create this SUPER cheap DIY.
What you need
- Cheap plastic phone case {H&M for $3.95}
- Assorted shape and size jewels {Joann's Fabric Store for $3.99 a bag}
- Some type of glue for plastic/jewelry {Joann's Fabric Store $4.00, it didn't even stick to my
fingers! Definitely recommend this one}
- Mesh ribbon/netting
- Tweezers {not shown, optional}
This is just a guide line and one idea for a DIY phone case. Experiment with different colors, jewels, and even little trinkets that can be found in the craft store. If you decide to make a phone case contact me here with a picture of your case and a little explanation on what you used. I will post everyones fab creations!
Happy Hump Day!
