Ever since I was little I adored make-up, and finally when I started 7th grade I was allowed to wear it. Ever since then, my love for make-up has grown. The only thing that is different is I am not piling it on like I did in jr. high. I put just enough on to ensure I don't look like I just rolled out of bed. Besides the occasional bold lip or smokey eye, this is what I wear every day.
MAC Studio Fix in C3
MAC Blush in Dainty
Maybelline The Falsies in brownish black
Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara
Ulta eyeliner in dark brown
Powder Blending Brush
Angled Blush Brush
Eyelash curler
Tweezers
I had never tried any MAC make-up until this past November when I decided to try something new. I've had a really hard time finding a color to match my skin tone in the past with other make-up brands but with MAC I have found my exact color. Sadly, I think that MAC make-up gets a bad wrap sometimes because everyone thinks its so thick and "mask-like". Totally the opposite for me. As you can see my freckles still show through and it is so light it doesn't even feel like I have make-up on. A tip that I have been doing to keep my make-up more natural looking is instead of using black mascara and eyeliner I switched to dark brown. It's not as harsh and goes well with my blonde hair. Another amazing tip that I just started doing is using clear mascara on my eyebrows. It eliminates the power-y look and keeps all your hairs in line. Lastly, this might sound silly but to have natural looking make-up you can't pile it on! Make-up is supposed to bring out your natural beauty not make a whole new face! What is your everyday make-up routine?

Alyssa
