UPDATE

With school half way done and my birthday around the corner I felt it was time I caught everyone up on what I have been up to! I got my Zumba instructors license in September and have been trying to find somewhere to teach ever since. I love Zumba so much and think it is so much fun!! I cant wait to teach:) (and get paid to exercise!!). My classes are going well this semester and I just signed up for next semesters classes which I'm so happy about because it will be my last semester at SCC and then Im transferring to ASU in the fall! Woo! So next semester should be a breeze with only two classes :) My 20th birthday is on Sunday and a group of friends and I will be celebrating at my new favorite sushi place Zushi, this weekend. Jeff and I are happier then ever and his semester is going great! Im excited for spring semester to start so I can go to his baseball games again:) Also I'm still teaching dance and I love it everyday. The kids that I teach are amazing and with 5 different elementary schools I can expect to see/hear something new everyday. They bring joy in my life and make everyday exciting. Well I think that pretty much sums up the past 3 months and Im not making any promises of blogging because I cant seem to keep them but when something exciting happens or if I found something really cool I will make sure to blog away! Happy Wednesday♥

Hard Rock Nails

A couple days ago I had dinner with my family and my cousin was in town. She told me about this new polish she has been using by Debra Lippmann called Hard Rock. Its a polish that is supposed to harden and strengthen your nails along with make them grow and hydrate them. I have been trying to find a good polish like this so i decided to give it a try. I definitely splurged with this purchase setting me back $20 bucks. We will see if this will be well worth the $$.

A Trip To Paradise

Last week Jeff and his family were amazing and wanted me to join them on their family vacation to Hawaii this year. We had a blast! My favorite part was probably all the snorkeling we did. Definitely my new favorite thing..to bad we don't have an ocean in AZ / any body of water clear enough to see in besides a pool. We got to swim with sea turtles and dolphins and got some authentic Hawaiian shaved ice. YUM! Here are some pictures from the trip:)

Jeff"s Birthday and AllStar Game

I have definitely been slacking on blogging lately so I wanted to catch up on some things that I have missed posting about. The day after my family and I got back from California it was my amazing boyfriend Jeff's 20th birthday! We celebrated my going out to eat that night with both of our families and the next day Jeff and I went to the Homerun Derby which was in good ol' AZ! So of course we had to go and since baseball is Jeff's first love (maybe second, if I'm first :) ) it was a perfect thing to do for his birthday. We had so much fun. A funny story that happened right when we got to the game was a photographer came up to Jeff and I wanting to take our picture for the Fanfest photos. Turns out, we got asked about 3 more times once we got into the ballpark. haha We said yes to every one of course. Here are some photos!

San Diego 2011

On Saturday my family and I returned from a wonderful vacation. Lets just say I love going to California I wish I could live there..or at least stay there for a month in the summer. Its so layed back and is such a different vibe from good ol' AZ. The beach makes everything better. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Packing Essentials

No matter what, packing is always stressful for me. I normally end up packing in the early morning of the day I am scheduled to leave. I know its a bad habit. But I've made a list of essential items you don't want to forget on a trip. In my case, a beach trip.

Vacation!

Every year since I can remember my moms side of the family and our family have been going to Mission Beach. We have stayed in the same condo almost every year and have set places we like to go and eat at. Last year was the first year I have ever brought someone and that someone was Jeff. It was a blast! And in 12 more days we will be going again. We used to stay here in AZ for the 4th of July but every year we have been going to Mission earlier and earlier. But the Fourth is so much fun on the beach. There are fireworks everywhere and we stand on our balcony and watch them. I CAN'T WAIT! Plus I get to leave the Arizona heat for a week. Score!

Summer Festivities

Although my summer has consisted of frequent trips to the river, reading and finishing my wonderful books that I love to talk about on here, and Jeff's summer baseball games I some how have not had time to blog. Imagine that. Well a lot has happened since the last time I was on here. My family, Jeff and I went to Prescott which sadly I was suffering from food poisoning all weekend, it was wonderful. One of my best friends Brittney and her boyfriend Jeremy invited Jeff and I to go to the river with them and some friends, it was so much fun! I also have been doing tons of peoples extensions. So if anyone is interested in extensions or hair feathers, ill be glad to send out info! Last weekend my best friend, her boyfriend, their adorable little boy and Jeff and I went to a car show. Their little family is from Virginia so it was really fun showing them around the car show and eating at Oregano's (my favorite restaurant). YUM! So today I had a random thought, yes, you will definitly think I am crazy, but this may be coming back. LOVE? HATE? I miss short hair. Did that just come out of my mouth? Yes, yes it did. Thoughts?

Catching Up..Again

Last week started my fun festivities of summer. I purchased my beautiful white iPhone...which I love. And the following day Jeff, Jake, Kylie and I road tripped it to Vegas. We had the most amazing time. Right when I got in the car Jeff surprised me and bought me my Michael Kors iPhone clutch that I wanted(he hid it in the glove box)! I was so unbelievably happy! We went to Pinks hot dogs on the strip which ended up being an experience! I'm not a big hot dog fan so I ended up getting more of a sausage type dog and it ended up being really good. However, I wouldn't recommend eating it everyday. We went to all the outlets and spent $$$ (maybe too much) but I got tons of really cute things that I will get a lot of use out of this summer. We got back on Monday and this week has already flown by. Tuesday was Jeff and I's two year anniversary. I can't believe how fast two years can happen. It feels like he was just graduating...so weird. Anywhooo, we went to Red White and Brew (where we had our first date) and we even sat in our same booth:) We are sentimental what can I say? Next, Jeff's family came into town yesterday and we all went out to eat at Tia Rosas a really yummy mexican restaurant. Now, today one of my best friends and Jeff's sister Stephanie is graduating from high school. I'm so happy for her and we will be attending that tonight! And finally, tomorrow Jeff, my family (and Millie), and I will be spending our weekend in Prescott at our cabin for some much needed RnR. My mom and I have big plans of antiquing while we are there and hopefully Sean will do really good in his baseball tournament which is also up there this weekend! Convenient right? Well here is all the pictures to catch you up. I am sure to have really beautiful ones after this weekend is over.

Neon Nails

Neon shades are a hit this spring and summer and one of the easiest ways you can wear it is on your nails. This is a fun way to add a pop of color to your everyday routine. I recently purchased a China Glaze polish "Celtic Sun" and the application was so smooth and with a couple of coats this color makes a bold statement. Paying a couple dollars more for name brand polish is worth the outcome.

I Dream Of Genie

My recent obsession is definitely genie pants! These fun bottoms are super comfortable and light weight even for the hot AZ summers I am about to endure. Here are a pair that I purchased over the weekend. I bought another longer black pair with a belt that are so comfortable I will post pictures when I wear them.

Here are some of my summer wants♥

April Showers, Bring May Flowers

May has finally arrived and I feel as though the hustle and bustle of this semester is wrapping up! I only have one more full week of school and couldn't be more excited! I had an amazing weekend although I just spent half of my Sunday doing my online class, so now I can finally have some free time without stress! Friday night I got to be a Promo Girl for a Mexican Cantina called Salty Senorita's in Old Town Scottsdale. It was so much fun and I get to do it again for Cinco de Mayo this coming Thursday! I will try to take pictures but we are so busy! I will at least try to get one of my outfit. Last night Jeff and I went to the Greek Festival. We try to go every year because some of my best friends are Greek and they put on the Festival. The Loukoumades, which are little deep fried doughnuts soaked in honey and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar are a must have! They are to die for. Lets just say I can't go with out getting a plate of those. YUM! They also have other authentic Greek Cuisine like flaming cheese, Greek coffee, Baklava, and Gyros. Another one of my favorite parts of the Greek Festival has to be the Greek dancing. Last night Jeff sat out and watched my friends and I take the dance floor for some authentic Greek dances to live music. It was a blast. I hope everyone has a fantastic ending to their weekend!

Home Stretch

This past weekend was a much needed one! Friday was Earth Day and Good Friday and I celebrated by laying out by the pool and going to Jeff's baseball game! FInally summer weather is coming (I'm going to regret that later) and laying out on a raft in the pool feels amazing! And good news. MY BOOK CAME! I'm so happy. I was actually having reading withdrawals. I'm. Not. KIDDING. Two of my best friends celebrated their birthdays the past two weeks. My family and Jeff went to church Friday night for Easter and out to eat! Saturday night Jeff, Sean (my brother) and I went to the Remix Car show where Jeremiah and MANN performed it was so much fun! On Sunday my whole family went to our usual breakfast/brunch at TC Eggington's, an amazing breakfast and lunch place that I only go to once a year. Its our tradition. I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. But no worries school is coming to an end which could not make me any more excited. Seriously. I was so stressed this weekend and yesterday thinking about all my projects I had to do. But I am proud to say that I finished my lab paper and am almost done with my pesky online computer class. WOO! BRING ON SUMMER♥
