DIY: Fringe Garland

I have been seeing these gorgeous garlands around lately {here} and decided to make one for my room. My bestie Rea had made one for a new years party and I fell in love. Here are step by step instructions on how I made mine.
What you need: Cutting board {optional}, scissors, tape, tissue paper, rope
1. Lay tissue paper out
2. Fold in half
3. Cut strips leaving an inch at the top
4. Lay tissue paper out flat
5. Fold up the center and twist
6. Rubber band it {normally you hot glue it, but I'm lazy}
7. Cut a strip of gold tissue
8. Wrap around rubber band and tape to give it a finished look {you can glue it but again, lazy:) }
9. Cut rope
10. String and hang! {I knotted each of mine so they would stay in place}
{final product!}
I love it! It adds so much charm and character to my little room. Hope you all had a fantastic Wednesday!

xoxo,
Alyssa
