Today's Leg Workout & Outfit

Hey guys! I know I said I had a yummy dessert recipe today but it turns out that I didn't have any greek yogurt in the fridge...oops. So I promise it will be coming soon:) But I just wanted to share what I did today at the gym. I know I have mentioned my running routine that I do Monday, Wednesday and Friday on my blog but on Tuesday/Thursday I have been wanting to alternate between weights, cross-fit, Insanity and pilates {Saturday's I do ballet & Sunday is my rest day}. I love switching up my workouts so they don't get boring! Since I just started adding weights into my workouts again I am starting slow. Here is the leg workout I did today.

  • Quick 5 minute leg warm up {I did the bike with lots of resistance} 
  • Leg curls 3 sets of 10 {medium weight}
  • Leg extensions 3 sets of 10 {medium weight}
  • Squats 3 sets of 10 {medium-heavy weight}
  • Calf raises {light weight} 3 sets of 10
  • Inner thighs 3 sets of 25 {light weight-high reps}
After the leg workout I made Jeff throw the medicine ball at me while I did sit-ups, caught the medicine ball and threw it back to him. {If that makes any sense}

Don't mind my gross Nikes, they have gotten a lot of love:) I am by no means a trainer or certified but I just wanted to share what I did to workout today! If you guys like a little workout post here and there let me know:) Happy working out and have a wonderful Tuesday:)



  1. So proud of you for getting up and moving. I have had such a hard time scheduling regular times at the gym so I try to incorporate little daily workouts into my daily routine. 10 minutes when I wake and I always try to run up the stairs at school and other places. I probably look ridiculous but I am desperate for a little exercise. I am just so swamped with school/work/life/etc. xx. McKenna Lou

    1. Awwww thank you!!!! Yes it is so hard!! Last semester I would try and walk everywhere on campus for exercise as well, its so hard to fit it in:(
