Outfit Post: Easter Sunday

Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. We normally go to church on Saturday night, then have our traditional Sunday morning breakfast at T.C. Eggington's {which is so yummy}, little treats from my parents, Easter egg hunt {now it is just for my little cousins} and dinner with the family. I love being able to spend time with my loved ones today and everyday! This is what I wore to breakfast this morning.

Above all the eggs and bunnies, we can't forget the real reason we celebrate Easter! xo

Outfit Post: Blogger Meet Up

Today I had SO much fun meeting up with Paige from punkrockparti. She is the sweetest girl ever and I'm so excited she is coming back home for summer so we can see each other all the time:) We ate lunch at Sauce {YUM!} and then went to one of my favorite vintage stores {Vintage Blue Jean Buyer} to get some goodies. I got two pairs of vintage Levi's that I am going to wear as boyfriend jeans {the owner customizes the distressing however you want...LOVE} and Paige got the raddest belt ever!!! You definitely will be seeing our fun purchases on our blogs soon.

For all of you that are interested in getting it, I actually got it in an XL because I wanted it to be baggy and not so cropped. I hope all of you are having a wonderful Thursday and don't forget to check out Paige's blog {here}!

I am always SO happy to hear from my readers and yesterday one of my friends Kymberlee from junior high and high school contacted me. She is raising money for her upcoming surgery and I wanted to get the word out for her! You guys can read about her story and donate money {here}.

Outfit Post: Free Spirit

I am so sorry I didn't post yesterday. I had the WORST 24 hour stomach bug. Ewww so happy I feel better today. Lets just say I was in the same workout shorts and t-shirt for over a day... It was bad. Anyways, today after I managed to go to work, I really wanted to get ready and put some normal clothes on. I decided to get my flared jeans out and pair them with a graphic tank and my fringe vest.

pants Old Navy, tank Forever 21, vest Forever 21 {old}, shoes Sheikh, cuff {Mexico}, handmade necklaces, turquoise necklace Down East Basic, sunnies Forever 21

I definitely think a good pair of flared jeans are a must in any wardrobe. They are fun, playful and can even be dressed up for work or a party! I really want to try a lighter wash for my next pair after seeing {this} post today. LOVE! I hope all of you are having a fantastic Monday. {I know I am...92% on my Women and Sexuality quiz today BOOYA!} Bye!!

Outfit Post: Classy Camo

Today I decided to spoil myself a little and went to Target. I hadn't been there in forever so I was super excited to pick up some new things. I got this adorable camo tee in the mens section for $9.99! I was so happy I found it because I have been looking for a camo tee for ages. I also picked up this skirt for $22.99! They have so many different colors and I am temped to go get some more:)

Outfit Post: Preppy Camo

YAY! Finally it's Friday and my busy week is behind me! I cannot wait to go on a date with Jeff tonight! I decided to go a little preppy, but I had to throw on my camo jacket to add a little grungy-ness.

jean shorts Nordstrom Rack {old}, plaid shirt Old Navy, sweater Forever 21, vintage Coach bag, Michael Kors watch, ILY Couture bracelet c/o, Charming Charlie bracelets, dad's old belt, vintage camo jacket, sandals K-Mart, sunnies Forever 21

I love mixing around my styles and I definitely haven't worn this style in a while. What I wear is based on my mood, inspiration from Pinterest/Instagram or even from other blogs. Sometimes it's good to switch things up:) Happy Friday everyone!

Outfit Post: Almost Free

Lets just say, this week has been quite hectic to say the least. I coached a cheer camp for elementary school kids that are on spring break from 9-12 every morning this week {one more day!}. They are so fun and I loved being able to see them for a week straight! I also had huge projects due {no joke} in every single one of my classes at school. How ironic right?! This weekend will hopefully be super relaxing:) Today I actually got ready which felt soooo good. Sometimes being in workout clothes/constantly doing homework/running around makes me feel a little down. Doing my hair, putting make-up on and getting cute makes me feel so much better!

skirt Buffalo Exchange, skull tank Brandy Melville, DIY studded jacket, booties Target, belt {my dad's}, DIY necklace, vintage Coach bag {my grandma's}, cuff {Mexico}, vintage rings, Warby Parker glasses

A couple months ago my grandma gave me her old Coach bag. I cleaned it up today and decided to wear it! I love it so much! It is simple and will match with anything. I love to get old pieces and make them new again. I hope all of you are having a great week!

My Everyday Make-up Routine

Hey guys! Recently, I have changed my make-up routine a little and decided to share it with you. Since summer is coming soon and I have been in the sun more, my little freckles are starting to show again. When spring and summer rolls around, I always try and go lighter with my make-up because it gets so darn hot here in AZ plus I like the natural sun-kissed look. These products can be applied for light or full coverage.
1. Hard Candy Primer
2. Garnier BB Cream - Light/Medium
3. Maybelline Concealer
4. Bare Minerals Matte - Medium
5. MAC Blush - Pink Swoon
6. Wet N' Wild bronzer
7. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil
8. Elf eyebrow palet
9. Elf eyelash curler
10. Falsies Maybelline Mascara - Brownish Black

Maybelline "Born With It"
Rimmel Moisture Renew "Pink Chic"
Revlon Matte "Nude Attitude"

This different make-up routine started purely because I ran out of my MAC Studio Fix and ended up finding almost a brand new container of Bare Minerals in my make-up drawer. I used to wear it all the time and drifted away from it for a while. I will keep you guys updated on how I like it! The bottom lip sticks are perfect to create a pinky-nude look. I also sometimes apply a mauve lip pencil before putting the lip stick on. And just an FYI for the "Nude Attitude" color...apply it sparingly. Its very pigmented and thick if applied like a normal lipstick. I blot it on the centers of my lips when I use it to create an illusion of fullness. I hope I gave you guys some ideas on different products to try or found it entertaining. I always love to see what other people use in their make-up routine.

Alyssa
